DynaFORCE Touch Technology
DynaFORCE Multi-touch keys from ALGRA uses the latest Force Sensing technology to create touch key functionality in metal, wood, plastic or ceramic keypad facia plates.
A highly robust and waterproof interface solution, DynaFORCE multi-touch keys, use strain gauge sensors, to allow variable sensitive key operation through a range of surfaces. The technology works by using a network of sensors, situated behind each key on the customer-specific PCB. Each key is incredibly sensitive, yet unsusceptible to interference, filtering out disruptive signals thanks to intelligent signal evaluation.
DynaFORCE offers engineers increased design freedom, allowing this touch technology to be incorporated into a variety of interface solutions, ideal for consumer, industrial, and rugged outdoor applications. Panels can be operated through finger, gloved finger, or stylus. Front panels available in a range of materials, including, wood, glass, stone tile, stainless steel, and aluminium.
Key Benefits
- High water protection rating
- Dynamic key sensitivity
- High-temperature operational capability (-40°C to +85°C)
- Long service life (10 million cycles)
- No moving parts
- Visual, acoustic or haptic key feedback
- Glove-sensitive operation
DynaFORCE Demo and Developer Kit
DynaFORCE turns the panel front into a reliable yet extremely sensitive touch control system, no matter whether it is on metal, glass, wood, plastic or other materials. If you would like to thoroughly test the module with optical, acoustic and haptic feedback in the required environment order the Demo and Developer Kit directly from us.
Multi-Touch Technology
DynaFORCE multi-touch input systems use a peel and stick adhesive, making it possible to attach to any application modules. The wide range of design features allows engineers to create a sleek and aesthetically pleasing interface solution, robust and able to withstand challenging environments. Software is used to evaluate panel and measure the change in resistance of all the keys, considering impact factors such as dynamics, temperature, and the signal relationship of the keys.
Key functions: Force sensors measure the force applied to each key. A light key touch can be clearly distinguished from a firm key press. Enabling users to switch between different functions such as to control the brightness of a light.
Tactile feedback options: Integrated vibration motor can be used to generate tactile feedback, however, please note, this can feel different depending on the material used. Visual feedback can be implemented through the integration of LEDs or display, and tone set to provide acoustic feedback.
DynaFORCE Keypads and all ALGRA products are distributed in the UK by Diamond HMI.
