Stratasys Objet Connex 350 Polyjet
Using the latest “Stratasys Objet Connex 350 Polyjet” 3D printer we have developed a method to offer low cost rapid prototyping for Silicone Rubber Keypads. The normal cost of this service is £200-£400 depending on size of the keypad and samples are usually available in 2 to 5 days.
With the wide variety of materials available to this system we are able to manufacture parts and assemblies made from multiple materials with different mechanical properties, all in a single build. By combining materials in one assembly we can provide a soft rubber like material in shore hardness ratings of between 40A to 95A and also add a hard plastic to create hard key tops or embedded graphics within the key surface. The final unit can be combined with a metal click dome so the client can get a more realistic impression of how their final product could look and feel.
