New Frameless Touch Interfaces
Introducing Frameless Touch Technology from ClickTOUCH NV, distributed in the UK by Diamond HMI. Create a transparent touch-sensitive switch panel with no visible connections.
Frameless touch technology works by using a glass “sandwich” within which is a transparent conductive layer, connected to the capacitive touch control electronics.
This interface can be used for applications such as Point of Sale (POS) displays, customer interaction terminals and high-end domestic appliances. Illuminated legends can be created by laser etching the glass and adding LEDs to the electronic control system. The thickness and structure of the glass allows the technology to be used in rugged/outdoor applications.
