Elastomeric Keymats
Elastomeric keymats offers a simple interface solution which can be integrated easily into an electronic product to allow a user to perform routine interface tasks.
Manufactured using compression moulded silicone rubber, elastomeric keymats are found in applications within industrial machinery, instrumentation, consumer goods, and automotive markets. The properties of silicone rubber help create an excellent switch response. Pressure applied to the key deforms an angled webbing around the switch with a defined “click” response. Once removed, the web returns to its original position.
