Display Technology: LCD Module & TFT Range
Almost every electronic device we interact with contains an LCD or TFT display in some form. The clarity of a display directly effects customer perception of a product. At Diamond HMI we offer a broad display range, covering everything from bespoke static LCD glass through to the latest AMOLED display.
Our wide range of industry standard size Character and Graphic LCD modules are available with numerous fluid, polariser and backlight options to create the perfect display for your application. We can now offer a direct migration to path from standard Monochrome LCD Modules to the latest OLED (Organic Light Emitting Display) Modules, which are now available in many of the industry standard sizes. OLED offers a significant reduction in power consumption with exceptional viewing angle and display contrast. Our OLED range has recently been enhanced by small format devices suitable for the wearable IOT market.
Our TFT module range covers 1.3” through to 12.1” panels with various interfaces and drivers. Most are available with either resistive touch screen or the latest PCAP touch screens. Once a suitable TFT panel size has been specified we can further enhance the part with high bright backlights for sunlight viewing as well as custom FPCs to allow for easy connection to the PCB. For demanding applications such as transportation and hazardous environments we offer custom tuned PCAP touch screens using high strength glass.
